Dear Colleagues,

With the theme, ”°IPv6: Leading to the Future”±, the Global IPv6 Summit in Korea 2005 sponsored by MIC (The Ministry of Information and Communication), IPv6 Forum Korea and IPv6 Forum International will be held on July 21 ~ 22 at the Lotte Hotel, Jamsil in Seoul.

   T

Now IPv6 is being considered as the core protocol in implementing the ubiquitous network. Korea is planning to build up its communication infrastructure to all-IP network through IT839 project (8 services, 3 infrastructures, 9 growth engines) and the IPv6 acts as the core role in that.

At this summit, many of world-wide experts including the Chairman of IPv6 Forum International, telecommunication operators, IPv6 equipment vendors, IPv6 application developers and the people from the government sectors will report on a variety of their current IPv6 activities and a lot of presentations regarding on the next step of IPv6 based Convergence, Transition, Deployment and Business Cases will be also talked in sober earnest. Moreover ION (Interoperability On!) which tests interpretabilities among IPv6 equipment will be held with this summit, so it would be much help to developers who have interest in developing IPv6 enabled equipment.

In keeping with IPv6 Forum's mission to increase awareness of IPv6, please take a minute to consider who could benefit from this opportunity among your colleagues and forward this information to them.
